We arranged a walk with the last year`s former student Li, the rhodesian ridgeback and her owner Barbara. Li is now a big girl, or better said a “big bomb of energy”. Like a true ridgeback, she bursts to life in the fields and runs all around. But when Barbara calls, she comes right away and patiently walks at her side, even though her still childish nature hardly holds back, till she has the “off” and is allowed to run again. The bulletin of the Italian Rhodesian Ridgeback Club Konec (http://www.rrci.it/) was published at the end of June. AS they asked me for a written contribution I was very flattered. Especially, since they have asked me for a permanent theme about dog education and behavioural problems.
